“I grew up surrounded by the lush beauty of the Dominican Republic, where the boundary between the natural and the spiritual was never drawn. My grandmother would speak to plants as if they were family, because to her, they were. That relationship — that deep knowing that we are not separate from nature but woven into it — lives in every stroke of these paintings. When I use earth tones and greens alongside gold and cosmic purple, I am mapping the territory between the garden and the galaxy, and showing that they are the same place.”
About This Exhibition
The earth is not merely ground beneath our feet — it is a living, breathing expression of the same divine intelligence that moves through us. This exhibition explores the sacred boundary where the natural world and the spiritual realm interweave, creating works that root cosmic awareness in the rich soil of embodied experience.
Here, greens and earth tones meet celestial golds and deep cosmic blues. Organic forms — roots, seeds, the spiral of growth — merge with sacred geometries and symbols drawn from traditions that span the globe. Each painting is an altar to the understanding that spirit is not somewhere above us, waiting to be reached, but here, now, in the soil, the water, the breath of every growing thing.
This collection honors the wisdom traditions that have always known what modern science is beginning to confirm: that everything is connected, that the web of life is a web of spirit, and that to tend the earth is to tend the soul.
