I'm so deeply grateful to have been featured on Our Voices. Our Lives., the award-winning documentary series by William Feagins of WFJR Films. The series immerses viewers in the pulse of Atlanta's artistic and entrepreneurial scene, and after 8 years, William has featured almost every artist in this city. I got to be episode 94, right in the middle of the show's 8th anniversary celebration.
Thank you doesn't feel like enough, but thank you to @wfjrfilms for giving me the space and the opportunity to tell my art journey on his docuseries, @ourvoicesourlives. Being trusted with that kind of platform, especially one that's documented so many artists before me, means more than I can really put into words.
William made the whole thing feel so comfortable from start to finish, and he created something genuinely magical with this film. It's the first interview I've ever watched of myself where I didn't cringe to death — and anyone who's seen themselves on camera knows how rare that is.
